AI Disclosure
What Bijou does
- Answers common questions using information the business has provided (its FAQs, prices, opening hours, services).
- Offers available appointment slots and books them.
- Passes the conversation to the business's staff when it is unsure, when you ask for a person, or when the topic needs a human.
What Bijou does not do
- It does not give medical, dental, legal, financial or other professional advice. For a health concern it can book an appointment or put you in touch with staff; in an emergency, contact emergency services.
- It does not make final decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.
How to reach a human
Reply asking for a person (for example "talk to a human"). The business's staff can see the conversation and take over at any time.
Limits
AI can misunderstand or be wrong. Check important details (prices, times, addresses) with the business before relying on them.
Models and data
Bijou uses third-party large language models listed on our Sub-processors page. Your messages are sent to them only to generate a reply. We do not use your conversations to train AI models. See our Privacy Notice.
Our transparency commitment
People should know when they are talking to AI. Businesses using Bijou agree in our Terms to tell their customers. We are adding an automatic AI notice to the first message of each conversation, in line with Article 50 of the EU AI Act, and will update this page when it is live.
